The Power's Farming Family venture into retail began as a modest truck stand in the early 1960s. Today, Powers Farm Market is a thriving, beloved community landmark that has flourished over the years. Along with its top-quality, Powers-grown produce, the market is also famous for its delicious baked goods, beautiful flowers & plants and also unique, one-of-a-kind gifts and treasures.
Under the family management of Ned and Roger Powers along with son-in-law Dan Skelton, the market is open for most of the year and every season has something special to offer! In the spring, Powers highlights spring bedding plants and beautiful hanging baskets. Summertime at Powers brings the locally famous sweet corn along with an abundance of other homegrown, farm-fresh produce (including garden vegetables, berries, peaches and more). In the fall, the Powers’ pumpkin patch, hayrides and jack-o-lantern-filled tee-pees are crowd-pleasing attractions. Last, but certainly not least, the holiday season at Powers brings festivities for the whole family to enjoy. Bring the family to wander the lot of fresh-cut Christmas trees, pick out a special wreath and enjoy the spectacle that is our live nativity walk.
Year-round, Powers offers their Memorial Flower and Wreath Placement Service for White Haven Cemetery to help you celebrate the lives of loved ones. For more information, call the market or inquire within.
